Guest Conductor for this lively and entertaining concert at the Baptist
Church, Port Macquarie.
A
medley of light choral music performed by Cantorus and
Cantabile enchanted audience members before a
second half devoted to the classical music of Felix
Mendelssohn, one of the most prolific and gifted composers
the world has ever known, featuring Bill
Hawkey as organ soloist and conducting Cantorus
in excerpts from Mendelssohn's powerful
oratorio "Elijah".
