Choral Festivals

Hastings Choristers Inc staged the first Hastings Choral Festival at Port Macquarie in May 2001, which attracted eager participants from as far afield as North Queensland and Tasmania.

The success of this initiative prompted a repeat in 2002, with the Choral Festival then becoming firmly established as a bi-annual Port Macquarie event.

The 2004 Choral Festival took place on 15-16 May 2004, and the website set up for that event has been retained for reference here. 

The 2006 Choral Festival was held on 5-7 May 2006. Here is a link to highlights of the event.

For operational reasons it was not possible to hold a Choral Festival  in 2008 but ...
